The Syria Airlift Project on BBC

A few weeks before our Syria Airlift Challenge: Sacramento, we received an email from BBC senior reporter Catrin Nye, who had previously done work on Syria. She had participated in two aid convoys bringing medical supplies to the Syrian border, and had seen the tragic fallout from the war firsthand. She was intrigued by Uplift’s efforts to create a new paradigm for delivering aid, reached out, and soon found herself on a plane from London to cover our Sacramento event, along with her cameraman Ben.

BBC Magazine released Catrin’s written piece last night. The video she and Ben produced is below. We are humbled by this video, which beautifully captures everything the Syria Airlift Project means to us.
